Hey everyone, I'm excited to share some great news with you! I recently landed a new job as a Principal Front End Developer with 6River Systems, a startup based in Waltham that specializes in warehouse automation. I had been searching for my next career move for a while now, and I couldn't be happier with this new opportunity.

One of the things that excites me the most about this job is the chance to work on some really cool projects. For instance, one of my first tasks will be to refresh the Chuck (warehouse robot) GUI. This is a fantastic opportunity to experiment with new mobile screen technologies and come up with some innovative user experience solutions.

Another project that I'm looking forward to working on is the Warehouse Map Editor, a graphical editing software similar to the diagramming tools I developed while working at the MathWorks. This project will be challenging, but it will also be a great opportunity to apply my skills and create something truly useful for the company.

I'm also excited about the fact that the robots at 6River Systems use ROS (Robot Operating System) under the hood. This is something that I've been wanting to try out for a while now, and I'm looking forward to diving into it and learning more about it.

Finally, another great thing about this job is that I will have the chance to learn TypeScript and Angular. These are valuable skills to have in the world of web development, and I'm eager to add them to my repertoire.

All in all, I'm really excited about this new chapter in my career. Building robots and experimenting with new technologies is something that I've always been passionate about, and I feel like 6River Systems is the perfect place for me to pursue those passions.
